Scientific objectives :   To spend up to 2 days dredging seamounts on the rifted margin offshore the N Seychelles margin to complement geophysical work carried out during Cruise 144. This cruise collected ca. 50 kg of basalts from a small seamount at 3 Deg 09 Min S, 56 Deg 11 Min E.
